Dental Offices Among First to be Vaccinated

On December 5th the California Department of Public Health announced that dental offices will be amongst the first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The plan for Phase 1 distribution is separated into 3 tiers with dental offices included in tier 3 (Click here for the full break down of COVID-19 Phase 1 distribution).

Tier 3 includes other low-risk health care providers. Dental providers have been placed in this tier because there have been no reported transmissions in dental offices according to the California Dental Association (CDA). Once Phase 1a and 1b are complete, the CDA will contact our office to be vaccinated. When our staff is vaccinated we will report it here.
